First Friday of the month.
Every year Australians ignore thousands of pop songs. It starts on video hits and MTV where talented musicians are rejected for cosmetic reasons, and continues right through to the record stores where leftover or unwanted records are thrown out and remaindered.
At the Windsor Castle local Melbourne deejays Gram, Elle, Chestwig and guests have introduced a night called Bottom 40 to save these pop songs from cultural oblivion.
You can make a difference to a forgotten pop song's life by joining us on the second Friday of each month to pay homage to all that was but never quite made it.
